What is this?

This site serves as an attempt to create an integrated view from information gathered from a variety of well-known sources which includes (but is not limited to):

  • AFL
  • AFLCA
  • AFLUA
  • Wikipedia
  • AFLTables
  • AustralianFootball
  • Draftguru
Many of the pages will have links to relevant sources of information, however, the links might become outdated since URLs may change (or become unavailable) over time. See the About page for more information.

Works In Progress

This project is continuously bringing in additional information and fact-checking existing information, the current focus of which includes (but is not limited to):

  • Umpires:
    • Where available, bringing in the goal and boundary umpires at each match as well as the emergency umpires.
  • Captains:
    • Where available, bringing in the (sole) nominated captain at each match. This is currently roughly assigned by using the available information about elected captains and vice-captains, information provided by AFL articles and data, and fan sites such as Blueseum, Demonwiki and Tigerland.
  • Player Positions:
    • Where available, bringing in the player positions at each match. Data made available pre-2012 should not be taken as accurate and is currently undergoing review.
