1928 VFLS Season

These are the results for the 1928 season of the Victorian Football League Seconds (currently known as the Australian Football League Reserves).

It featured eighteen rounds. It should be noted that teams did not necessarily play their matches following the same order as the nominal round numbers of those matches this season. Carlton Seconds were the minor premiers.

The season ended with a finals series following the Second Amended Argus system. Carlton Seconds were the premiers, with Jimmy Goonan as the premiership coach.
