1943 VFL Season

These are the results for the 1943 season of the Victorian Football League (currently known as the Australian Football League).

It featured sixteen rounds in a single round-robin format with five qualifying rounds that excluded the team that was placed last on the ladder after the first eleven rounds. Each team received one bye. Richmond were the minor premiers.

The season ended with a finals series following the Page-McIntyre system. Richmond were the premiers, with Jack Dyer as the premiership captain-coach.
