1946 TANFL Season

These are the results for the 1946 season of the Tasmanian Australian National Football League (currently known as the Tasmanian State League).

It featured fifteen rounds in a quintuple round-robin format. New Town were the minor premiers.

The season ended with a finals series following the Final Three Challenge system. Sandy Bay were the premiers, with Lance Collins as the premiership captain-coach.
