1966 VFLR Season
This page displays the results for the 1966 season of the Victorian Football League Reserves (currently known as the Australian Football League Reserves).
It featured eighteen rounds. It should also be noted that Richmond forfeited 3 matches (12 premiership points) due to fielding an unregistered player against Carlton, Collingwood and Footscray and. It is presumed here that the matches were those from rounds 12, 13 and 15, though this is yet to be confirmed. The Collingwood Reserves were the minor premiers.
The premiership ended with a finals series following the Page-McIntyre system. The Richmond Reserves were the premiers, with John Nix as the premiership coach.
